How MarketMeerkats handles your data.

What we collect.

When you sign in, we store your email address and the OAuth identifier our auth provider returns (Firebase Auth, in our case). When you set a watchlist, we store the tickers you chose against your account. That is the whole list.

What we don't collect.

We do not buy or sell personal data. We do not run third-party advertising. We do not profile your browsing across other sites. Vercel Analytics records anonymous page views; it does not set tracking cookies. Sentry records errors; we strip email, account IDs, and billing identifiers before any event leaves your browser.

The daily brief email.

If you receive the daily brief, your email is on a list that exists to send it. The list lives in our database and the YAML config we maintain. Resend is the transactional sender; their logs show delivery state.

Reddit content.

We link to Reddit posts and surface aggregate stats (subreddit, score, comment count, title). We don't republish post bodies or author handles. Clicking a post link takes you to Reddit, not a redisplayed copy here.

Erasure.

Email us at hello@marketmeerkats.com to delete your account and watchlist. We remove the row, log the action, and confirm.

Changes.

If this page changes materially, you'll see it on the next visit. We don't do retroactive consent flips.
